Discretion, in Writing
Privacy
Discretion is the default in this trade, and it is absolute. Here is what that means, in plain terms.
What arrives when you write
The stone brief and any correspondence travel by email, from your own mail application to mine. What I receive is what you chose to send: your name, your email address, and the brief itself. This website has no database and stores nothing you type.
What I do with it
I read it, and I reply. Your details are used for our correspondence and for nothing else. No newsletters, no list, no sharing, no selling. What you send me stays on my desk. I do not publish client names, and I do not discuss what I have sold, or to whom.
What this site collects on its own
No cookies. No advertising trackers. The site keeps anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics (page views and country, never identity) so I know which field notes are read. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the standard technical request any font service does.
Your side of the ledger
Ask at any time and I will tell you what correspondence of yours I hold, correct it, or delete it entirely. One email is enough: lambert@thegemhunter.com.
