Lambert Vissot
Independent gemmologist. Technical mastery, absolute transparency.
I work from a private office in Bangkok — sourcing, certifying and advising on the world’s most exceptional colored gemstones, for a clientele that demands absolute discretion and uncompromising quality.

A Foundation of Technical Mastery
True gemmology is rigorous technical analysis. Trained at EIG Monaco, my approach is strictly analytical — entirely devoid of mystical claims. Every stone I evaluate stands or falls on the same pillars: crystal quality, precise provenance, optical performance.
I reject the trade’s misleading language — “semi-precious” first among it — so that every stone I present is backed by hard, verifiable fact. My doctoral research in gemmology, still underway, carries the same lifelong commitment: absolute transparency in the luxury gemstone market.

Curating the Rarest Specimens
My expertise is the securing of rare, investment-grade colored gems — a deliberately narrow hunt, held to five categories of legacy material:
Unheated Burmese Ruby
Natural stones from Mogok, carrying the exact chromium content that true pigeon’s-blood saturation demands.
Kashmir & Ceylon Sapphire
Unheated crystal, from the legendary velvety cornflower blue of Kashmir to the luminous brilliance of fine Ceylon material.
Colombian Emerald
Selected strictly at insignificant or minor oil — the laboratory grades that guarantee superior underlying clarity and structural integrity.
Tanzanian Tsavorite
The finest vivid-green garnets, secured directly at the source in Merelani.
Mahenge Spinel
The rarest specimens, hunted for one signature: intense, natural neon fluorescence.

History & Permanence
A deep fascination with the earth’s oldest treasures drives my work. I bring that understanding of history and permanence to every acquisition — so the gems my clients secure today stand as tangible legacy assets for generations to come.
